British Shorthair Cats GCCF Registered
My name is Jolanta Axon and I have been breeding British Shorthair cats for four years. I was born in England to Polish parents and have always had a passion for animals, nature, gardens and plants, hence my new prefix. I began showing under 'Yallykitz' prefix, but changed it in 2007 to 'Delphinium'.
We aquired our first British Shorthair, Joeleblu Stardust from Ray Joel and immediately fell in love with the breed. 'Angel' as we named her, had kittens the following year and we kept Kim, as a pet neuter, from her first litter. See Boys page. Show successes began in 2007 with her kittens Oliver and Izabella and now Oliver is made up to a Champion. See Show News page.
I specialise in the British Blue and Tabbies: including Black Silver Tabby, Blue and Brown Tabbies, both spotted and classic. My aim is to breed kittens that are healthy and well socialised. I try to improve the quality/standard of the kittens I breed and excellent temperaments are paramount. My children Emily and Sophie love the cats and are a great help in socialising the kittens! They are wonderful helpers and partners! We are based in South Birmingham, within easy reach of the motorway links for the M42 and M6.

I am very grateful to some special friends for all their advice and support; including Eleanor Gray (Stonemarr), Zoe Amarilli (Amazolou), Patricia Absalom (Brynbuboo), Vicky and Vince (Vinmar), John Barber (Whiteseal), Ray Joel (Joeleblu), Dave Kinchin (Anwesol) and Ann Stubbs (Positively). Thank you so much for putting up with all my questions!
Updated on 02.07.09 Due to down-sizing and the acquisition of a Labrador puppy shortly, there will be a couple of adult cats looking for that forever loving home. See Studs page for more info on the first one to be available.
